Alice has been living in Gentle Falls all her life, attending Clefairy’s classes and generally getting to know people around town. She’s far from shy, and many kids her age get along with her. Her family aren’t particularly well off, so she did what she could around town to earn herself a little pocket money.
When she turned 16, her parents decided it was a good idea to get her into the Explorer’s Guilds. They wanted luxury for their only child, and her unwavering desire to help people would see its maximum potential as an explorer. However, between her various commitments around town, finding the time for it is another issue entirely.
Alice works at Alcremie’s Inn part-time as a maid, especially since she can handle the night shifts. She welcomes the inn's night owls with a smile and the best hospitality she can offer while Alcremie gets her beauty sleep. Despite it being a major part of the job, Alice isn't very good at cleaning, but that doesn't stop her from trying her hardest.
The heart shaped patch covers a small rip in her cloth that she got when she was little. It was an insignificantly small accident that she doesn't really remember anymore.
Her bow-tie was a birthday gift from a Gothita she sits next to in class. That very Gothita got herself tangled with some outlaws one day and was saved by a group of explorers. It was then that Alice took her prospective career as an explorer more seriously, and prioritized that over the favours she did around town. Although she has close ties with the inn, she hopes to move up to being a maid for an explorer guild someday.
